Muskerry Golf Course is now considered to be one of the top 18 hole parkland courses in Munster, if not all Ireland.
The club has 23 Holes and a variety of different course layouts to encompass these holes.
The first few holes are relatively flat and leads to the spectacular 6th Hole a par 3 over a river to a green clinging to the edge of a precipice in the yonder distance. Holes 7-10 wind their way was to the top of the hill (where the views are only breathtaking) and the hand of the designer Dr. Alister MacKenzie is very evident.
Holes 11-14 again wind around a natural copse of woodland and lead on to the last few holes 15-18, which are considered among the finest finishing holes anywhere in the country.
