The Dominican Friars pillars are Prayer Study Community Preaching

Our Motto is Contemplare et contemplata aliis tradere (hand on the fruits of contemplation).

Daily we praise God in community prayer (Laudare); we study to enable us to seek and speak well of the truth (Benedicere); and through contemplation of what we have prayed or studied attempt to preach to others – hand on the fruits of contemplation – (Praedicare).

Mass Times

7:15am, 8:15am & 11am (followed by confessions)

Sundays

*** Saturday 6:00pm (Vigil Mass) not starting back until October 3rd 

8am Mass celebrated in the Dominican Rite (in Latin).

9:30am Mass, with Music

11:00am Mass, with Cantor and Organist (St Mary’s Choir will return in September)
Our choir is well known throughout the city and further afield. It has been singing at the 11.00am Sunday Mass for over 30 years, and we are justifiably very proud of it. If you wish to know more about it, please contact the director, Sean Lehane (087 643 3924).
